Following the internal promotion of one of our Music teachers, and in  order to further expand this high-achieving department, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and dedicated Teacher of Music to join this Outstanding school from September 2017. You would be working in a highly ambitious and successful Music Department, with an excellent track record of exam success, both in Music and Music Technology, and extracurricular achievement.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher and musician,  with a strong commitment to Music both in and out of the classroom. Applications   are open to NQTs and experienced teachers, with a TLR responsibility for the   right candidate; responsibilities for this would be decided based on the strengths of the candidate. Knowledge of Music Technology and strong keyboard skills would be an advantage.

Charters School is a very heavily over-subscribed 11-18 Comprehensive Academy School with 1700 students on roll (including 470+ in the Sixth Form) located in Sunningdale.  It has been graded an Outstanding school on two successive occasions and is a dynamic, high-achieving secondary school where students are polite, motivated to succeed and enjoy their education. Charters School is a 11 – 18 mixed comprehensive school with over 1700 students with 390 in the Sixth Form.  We believe in a holistic approach to education providing excellent opportunities in and outside the traditional learning that inspires individuals in their academic and social development.

Our approach ensures that individuals are successful in their educational journey with us enabling individuals of all abilities to thrive and reach their personal goals, each year students take up places at Oxford and Cambridge as well as international universities and high-level apprenticeships in the local area and further afield.

The outcomes at both A level and GCSE are due to the hardwork of our staff and students.
