As a forward-looking and innovative school we are seeking to appoint a highly skilled practitioner to join our PE Team
This is an outstanding opportunity for a QTS qualified teacher to start or progress their career, in our highly successful PE Department. An ability to teach across the full age and ability range up to A Level is desirable. We provide an excellent and comprehensive support and induction programme for NQTs.
Kingdown School is ranked in the top 10 secondary schools in Wiltshire situated in Warminster in the heart of beautiful rural Wiltshire with excellent links to Salisbury, Bath, Bristol and the South-West. Kingdown School is an academy under the Acorn Education Trust and provides exciting opportunities to improve local education and draw on the collective experience of the Trust.
The School
Our facilities are excellent and include a gymnasium, three sets of changing rooms, physical education computer suite, eight tennis courts, astro-turf pitch, floodlit netball courts, and various other pitches near to the school. As part of a dual use agreement with the local sports centre, we have priority use of a swimming pool, sports hall, squash courts and a fitness gymnasium.
