The Governors wish to appoint a forward-thinking male teacher of PE to join a happy and vibrant faculty in our successful Catholic 11-16 High School. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate who is passionate about PE and wants to make a difference to the lives of the pupils at our school.

You will be joining a forward thinking and hardworking department comprising of experienced teachers who are committed and talented practitioners, have a passion for their subject and who deliver high quality learning through working closely together to achieve the best possible outcomes for our students.

This position has become available due to the retirement of the current postholder.

This postholder also held a TLR for pastoral responsibilities within the school. This role, therefore, could be suitable for newly qualified candidates wanting to teach PE and may also be suitable for more experienced candidates who wish to progress their career in a pastoral role as a Head of House.

The successful candidate will be:

Brownedge St Mary's Catholic High School is a mixed, Roman Catholic voluntary aided state secondary school for pupils aged 11-16. 

It is operated by Lancashire County Council and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Salford. The school is located in Bamber Bridge, Preston.
