We wish to appoint a graduate teacher of Physical Education to teach in a department that covers: core Physical Education, GCSE and A Level PE together with Btec First and National Diploma in Sports Science at this highly regarded, over-subscribed Catholic 11-18 boy’s comprehensive school. Applications are welcome from individuals of all faiths and none, who will support the catholic ethos of our school. 

Our oversubscribed School achieved 83% 5 A*-C including Maths and English in 2016 and the Sixth Form received an ‘outstanding’ ALP’s judgement. In our previous Ofsted inspection both ‘Behaviour & Safety’ and our Sixth Form were judged ‘outstanding’. 

The successful candidate will join an excellent department with an admirable record of very high examination success. The school has a national reputation in rugby, cricket, athletics and cross country. The ability to coach at least rugby, cricket or athletics to a high level will be essential. Commitment to extra-curricular activities on weekends will be essential. The post would represent an outstanding opening for someone with teaching experience or a newly qualified teacher.

Salary payable is on the Teachers Main Scale, including Outer London Weighting.
