We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Psychology and Criminology to join a talented and collaborative Social Science team in our successful and inclusive sixth form college. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to our students’ experience at Bilborough and their life chances by ensuring they are well supported and guided in lessons to achieve their full potential throughout their journey at college.
Through the delivery of high quality lessons with students, you will be responsible for monitoring the students’ progress and ensuring high levels of attendance, achievement and promoting a growth mind-set that enables them to progress successfully to the next stage of their working lives.
If you have a positive, proactive approach, enjoy working with and challenging young people to achieve their full potential and are able to work collaboratively as part of a busy team we would love to hear from you. You will require a full teaching qualification and considerable expertise in Psychology or Criminology, backed by real passion for helping students get ahead. In particular, you will be deeply committed to inclusion and innovation, and will be ready to go the extra mile to make your discipline the subject of choice for ambitious students.
