An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join our science team. We are keen to receive applications from:
· Colleagues who wish to teach science up to key stage 4
· Colleagues who wish to teach across all key stages (key stages 3, 4 and 5)
· Colleagues who wish to teach mostly A Level Biology, Chemistry or Physics
The successful applicant will have strong subject knowledge and passionate about sharing their love of science with our young people. The position would suit a talented and ambitious ECT or a more experienced teacher looking to broaden their experience at a successful inner-city school. We have well established staff development programmes and offer exciting career progression opportunities for our staff. A TLR allowance is available for a suitably experienced applicant to take on additional role within the department.
You will be joining a team of staff who firmly believe that there are no limits to what our young people can achieve. Our science department is extremely well resourced and this reflected in student outcomes at GCSE and A level. The sciences are the most popular subjects at A level, with many students proceeding to study science-based courses at the elite Russell Group universities, including Oxbridge.

Brampton Manor Academy is a highly successful 11-18 mixed school and we serve a rich and culturally diverse community in East Ham, close to London City Airport and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park situated in Stratford.

Brampton Manor converted to Academy status in April 2011 and formed a multi-academy trust called Brampton Manor Trust in 2013. In January 2014, Brampton Manor sponsored another local school, Langdon Academy (a 3-16 school), who joined our Trust in January 2014. There is strong collaborative working between our schools.
