Collingwood College is a high performing specialist Academy with excellent examination results in 2016. 68% of our students achieved 5 or more A*- C grades at GCSE. 70% of students gained a qualification in Maths and English. Further, 85% of students achieved A* - C in either English language or literature and 73% of students achieved A* - C in Maths. At A level, AS level and BTEC results continue to be outstanding with 57% of all A level grades awarded at A*- B.
We are looking for a Biology Specialist on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. The position may be made permanent for the right candidate. We are seeking a motivated, dynamic and dedicated Science teacher with the vision to inspire our students. You will be well qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated. You will be able to teach across the age and ability range, preferably with the skills and experience to teach A level. Applications will be considered from exceptional Newly Qualified Teachers.
