Our Sociology department is a vibrant and enjoyable place to work. It is a high performing subject in our school at GCSE and A level. The department is renowned for its pedagogy, staff development and academic rigour. We wish to appoint a high quality graduate who has the necessary skills and attributes to enthuse our highly ambitious students. Sociology is taught at key stages 4 and 5. The successful candidate must have the knowledge and skills to teach Sociology to A level. The ability to offer another subject such as Psychology or Religious Studies to KS3/4 will be an advantage.
