We are seeking to appoint a highly-motivated person to join our ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) resource based in Trinity School. This is a West Berkshire resource provision for students with specific ASD difficulties. The role will involve supporting students in mainstream lessons to enable them to access the curriculum, as well as working closely with teachers in the ASD resource. The ability to build good working relationships with students and staff is key to the role, as well as a willingness to learn and be flexible. A good general level of education is essential and this role may well appeal to people who are considering going into teaching as a career.

If you feel that you have the experience and drive for this role we would like to hear from you. Application is by application form and letter to Mrs C Wilson, Headteacher, the former including the names and addresses of two appropriate referees. Further details can be obtained from Mrs Hurst on 01635 510500, by email to office@trinity.newburyacademytrust.org or visit the school’s website www.trinitynewbury.org

Please note: the school office will be closed from 21st December 2017 – 2nd January 2018 inclusive so telephone enquiries will not be picked up.

The school has a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check
