To supervise classes for absent teachers as required, assisting students with the work that has been set by the teacher or the Head of Department. Proactively managing classes, creating a positive and purposeful atmosphere. Supporting teachers and heads of department in their roles as required, both as Teaching Assistant support in the classroom and through administrative tasks. Responsible for the maintenance and renewal of classroom and corridor displays in an area of the school.

Hourly rate: £9.74 - £10.14
Daily hours: 8.00am – 3.50pm (20 minute unpaid break)
Weekly hours: 37 hours
Term time only (38 working weeks, 4 weeks annual leave, 1.6 bank holidays = 43.6 paid weeks)
Actual salary: £15,712 - £16,357
