Job overview

We are looking for an inspirational and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with a passion for excellence to join our successful, happy and caring school. This role will involve supporting the learning needs of students, under the direction of teaching staff. The post holder will provide a high level of assistance in the practical organisation of class activities, undertaking group work and ensuring the welfare and development of students.

Long Close School is a co-educational, independent school for children aged 2-16, situated in Slough, Berkshire.

The school was founded in 1940 and after a series of developments over the decades was bought by Cognita, the largest independent schools business in the UK, in 2004. The senior school opened in September 2006.
