Grade 2 or 3 (depending upon experience and qualifications)
27.5 hours per week, term time only
We are seeking to appoint an individual with excellent interpersonal skills, who enjoys working with young people and as part of a team. Working with specific students who have special educational needs, you will be required to provide first class support to learning and teaching, supporting the students academic and social needs.
The successful person will have a good understanding and experience of how to support students with a range of needs including autism, dyslexia and dyspraxia. Language and communication skills are essential. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to work within a team, taking direction, but also taking initiative when required. You will also be able to relate effectively to students and be able to implement agreed behaviour management strategies.
The successful candidate must have GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above.
