Clifton High School is an academically selective, co-educational, independent day school for approximately 780 pupils aged 3-18 years. Situated on a beautiful Bristol site, our educational offering is underpinned by a strong pastoral and family ethos. We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team, we have two positions available - one in our Infant School and one in our Junior School. Teaching Assistants work predominantly during term time and include continuous professional development (CPD) days. The hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Teaching Assistants at Clifton High are proactive in the promotion of pupil development and provide high level support of education, social and physical needs. The successful candidates must have experience of working with children and will work under the direction of a class teacher. The successful applicants will support the practical organisation of class activities, undertake group work and ensure that the pupils’ developmental and welfare needs are met. Supervision of the pupils at break and lunchtime and during school trips are expected as part of this role.
