We are recruiting a Timetable Consultant to join our Tes Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in school timetabling or data management—ideal for teachers, middle leaders, data managers or timetable specialists who want to apply their expertise in a new and impactful way.

About the Role
As a Timetable Consultant, you will support schools in using our advanced Tes timetabling software. You will deliver training, guide customers through onboarding, provide technical support, and help schools construct efficient and effective timetables. Your understanding of school structures, pressures and priorities will be hugely valuable in helping leaders reduce workload and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high‑quality training to schools on Tes timetabling software
Support new customers with onboarding and data migration
Provide technical assistance via email, phone and virtual meetings
Assist schools with MIS data syncing
Work with schools to build or refine timetable structures
Stay up to date with new product developments and provide feedback
Collaborate with internal teams across training, product, sales and support
Collect and review customer feedback for continuous improvement
Maintain accurate customer records
Support broader business needs where required

What We’re Looking For


Experience: Proven experience in whole‑school timetabling or school data management
Knowledge: Strong spreadsheet/database skills and familiarity with MIS systems
Skills: Excellent numerical analysis, attention to detail, communication skills, prioritisation and adaptability
Attributes: Collaborative team player, resilient, proactive, committed to learning
Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent relevant experience
