Trust IT Director
Salary circa £50,000
We are seeking to appoint an IT Director as we enter into our next phase of development as a growing multi-academy trust. The Education Alliance comprises South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College, Malet Lambert School, Hunsley Primary and Driffield School. Committed to delivering high quality teaching and learning, the Alliance wishes to continue to build on its success, sharing best practice, innovation and skills across the partnership.
You will provide strategic leadership and hold accountability for ICT across the Trust, having responsibility as the Trust’s ICT expert at an operational and strategic level, ensuring the Trust maximises ICT for the benefit of students and staff. You will work with the CEO to develop a strategic ICT plan that delivers school and Trust development plans. Line managing school based ICT teams, you will help them to translate the strategic plan into operational deliverables in each school and across the Trust, working closely with a range of stakeholders.
You will have demonstrable knowledge of networks, servers, hardware and associated operating systems, including inter-site management and virtual systems. As a senior leader within the Trust, you will have the confidence, knowledge and skill to lead ICT developments across the Trust. This will involve a high level of planning and organisational skill, excellent problem-solving skills, analysis, teamwork and the ability to influence, persuade and engage with a range of stakeholders effectively.
