West Heath School is a challenging place to work, but our dedicated staff rebuild lives through education. As part of the team, teaching respect, encouraging responsibility, building relationships, and developing resilience in our students, our committed, dynamic, resourceful staff find the work rewarding. All our learners have EHCPs, and we work towards the end goal of helping students re-integrate into mainstream learning and preparation for adulthood.

The aim is to encourage students to develop transferable skills so that they can feel more confident in their own ability and have a taste of success and positivity.

The ideal candidate would have a relevant vocational qualification and experience supporting or teaching a vocational subject, such as ASDAN and /or Prince's Trust, in a SEND provision.

As well as working in an incredibly rewarding environment our benefits include free lunches, generous workplace pension, access to employee assist program, onsite parking, charity discounts and access to the swimming pool.
