The British Junior Academy of Brussels (BJAB) is located in the diplomatic residential area of Brussels and the diverse intake is reflected in our proximity to the main institutions of the EU, major NGOs and offices of multinational companies. BJAB requires a qualified primary teacher for our Year 2 class. Successful candidates will have an excellent working knowledge of latest UK practice either in the UK or international British education and have secure knowledge of the National Curriculum of England. English as a first language is essential. We look for teachers with the ability to support, nurture and challenge children from a range of backgrounds and starting points. Creativity and flexibility, professional rigour and integrity, expectations of high standards, high levels of pastoral care and support are the hallmarks of our professional team.
This position will begin in the beginning of March 2020 initially as a maternity cover, with the likely possibility of contract renewal for the 2020-2021 school year.
