Bournville School (part of Fairfax Multi-Academy Trust) is a mainstream, non-selective, comprehensive school for students aged 4 -16. It is built on traditional values. Pivotal to this, is a positive ethos and culture of learning and success for all students. There is particular regard to outstanding outcomes for all students whatever their academic starting point and a commitment to lifelong learning for all stakeholders.
Bournville School are seeking to appoint an innovative and highly motivated Primary Teacher (Year 6) to join a strong and enthusiastic team within the primary provision where teachers are committed to delivering a high quality, lively and interesting curriculum to challenge and inspire all our students.
We are looking for applicants who:
· Are passionate, enthusiastic, hardworking and energetic
· Are committed to the highest possible standards of attainment and behaviour
· Have a good understanding of how children learn
· Are caring and who value building strong relationships with all stakeholders and a culture of respect in the classroom
· Have experience in a primary school and ideally Year 6
· Have highly effective, well developed classroom management skills
· Are able to inspire and motivate both pupils and colleagues
· Enjoy working as part of a team
