Architecture seminars
March 6-9
This is Architecture, a series of free evening seminars investigating how architecture is presented to the public, will take place at the Architecture Foundation, The Yard, 49 Old Street, London EC1V 9HX, 6pm (for a 6.30pm start). The seminars include “Underage Architecture”, March 8, when a panel will discuss how children can be taught about contemporary architecture. Panellists include Sally Tallant, head of education at the Serpentine Gallery, and Catherine Smith, education officer, Open House.

Drama for the future
April 11-13
International drama conference organised by National Drama at Winchester University. Speakers include Patrick Sandford, artistic director, Nuffield Theatre, Southampton, on why theatre is important to young people, and Pam Bowell, Kingston University, on the “teacher as artist”. Science competition
