Mischievous pupils may dream of seeing their teacher handcuffed by police. That dream recently came true for a group of pupils at a school in Saerbeck, Germany.

A policeman put a female teacher into handcuffs as part of a demonstration for the pupils, only to discover that he had left the key to the cuffs at the police station.

“The children applauded, and the teacher thought it was all part of the lesson, so she went along with it,” the police later said in a statement.

The police officer phoned a colleague and asked him to bring over a key while the teacher carried on teaching the rest of the lesson in cuffs.

She only realised that the policeman really had forgotten the key when his colleague finally showed up and released her.
