RESEARCH REQUESTS

If any secondary school, sixth-form or further education college has established a successful anti-bullying peer support scheme, please contact Ginny Farmiloe, school of psychology and counselling, Roehampton Institute, on 0181 392 3620. Funded by The Prince’s Trust, this project aims to make published case studies of good practice available to schools.

If you had a mathematics teacher who changed your view of the subject, please send details (including how old you were and how long they taught you for) to: Emin Aydin (EdD student), School of Education, Leeds University LS2 9JT.

This new Internet site at http:www.basic-skills.co.uk contains details of initiatives in the primary, secondary, further and adult education sectors and of how the Agency can assist. It also outlines funding available for programmes such as family literacy, gives updates on new research, publications and broadcast and in-service training for basic skills tutors, and has an interactive enquiries section.
