Colleges will be asked to display posters publicising a mobile phone text service to encourage depressed teeenagers to come forward for help. The Samaritans will make the service available every day of the year, 24 hours a day, allowing two-way communication by text with its volunteer staff.
The service will be available throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
