Partnership (oops) has some way to go, however, judging by the warm response to Colin O’Brien, the head of Clydebank High. Were there any plans, he asked innocently, to complement HMI’s performance indicators on “How good is our school at education-industry links?” with PIs on “How good are your education-industry links?” for their business partners?

But Brian Wilson would not be drawn into any adverse judgments on employers and said his comments about educational links should be taken to apply to business. They are, er, partners after all.
