Glasgow’s medieval past will be brought to life by a new curriculum pack.
The education pack, piloted at Cadder Primary, will see buildings that once dominated the city brought back to life.
It includes a CD, lesson guides and assessments. These should help teachers deliver aspects of A Curriculum for Excellence.
The pack follows the publication of Glasgow’s first medieval map and trail in 2006, highlighting 26 historical landmarks central to the development of the city from 1150 to 1550. It will become an important resource in the new education pack for teachers.
All 170 Glasgow primary schools will receive a pack.
