College lecturers have accused employers of breaking a national bargaining agreement by recommending a pay offer before negotiations ended.
The National Association of Teachers in Further and Higher Education and the Association of Teachers and Lecturers are “incensed” that the Colleges’ Employers’ Forum had circulated colleges on the 2.7 per cent offer before the two unions had met formally.
Both sides have now rejected it and NATFHE is committed to industrial action from September.
