Interviewed in the latest Holyrood magazine, Galbraith bemoans “an educational establishment based around the Scotland Office, Scottish Executive, the EIS”. He suggests that politicians are unable to “recapture the agenda” from these vested interests.
Judith Gillespie of the Scottish Parent Teacher Council must really have upset Sam since her organisation is accused of being one of a number of “completely undemocratic external influences”.
Since Peacock has put parent involvement near the top of his agenda, this could well mean “putting Judith in her place”.
