Educational resources from the keepers of Scotland’s heritage treasures have been grouped together on a single website.

The Heritage Education Forum and Learning and Teaching Scotland have worked jointly on the site, which they plan to expand. They believe heritage is integral to implementing A Curriculum for Excellence by encouraging innovative teaching, out-of-classroom learning, and opportunities for cross-curricular work.

The forum includes representatives from 12 organisations, including Historic Scotland, The National Trust for Scotland, National Museums Scotland and the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland.
