Why is Mr Gove sending his Bibles to all state schools but not to any independents? Is this a sign that he and his millionaire sponsors recognise the funding problems facing state schools? Is it because they consider them pagan and thus in need of Christian teaching? Or is it because they believe that leading independent schools already have their own priceless first editions?
