Tomb Raider aids learning

Pupils will be creating their own computer games at school within five years to help them understand everything from maths and English to foreign languages. Researchers at London university’s Institute of Education believe games such as Tomb Raider and Manhunt offer many creative learning opportunities.

They think games can be harnessed to teach concepts such as critical appreciation of narrative or study character development, much like in traditional English literature classes.
