(Photograph) - Raglan Primary School pupils dressed up in 19th-century costumes that they made themselves and paraded down the local streets as part of the school’s recent focus on keeping history alive. There were masks, puppets (from Vera Lynn to King Henry VIII), singing, dancing and a riot of colour, as well as a school drumming band. It was the culmination of a term’s work where each year group studied a different aspect of British history from the Romans to present day.
