Would Mal H. (“Leave the jokes to the comedians”, Letters, 28 September) kindly refrain from comparing great men with irritating pests? I used to be a great fan of the Two Ronnies and resent their memory being insulted by bracketing them with Michaels Gove and Wilshaw.
