The Mongolian government is to ban all forms of abuse and violence in schools. After a year’s campaigning by Save the Children and other groups, more than 650,000 children will now be protected from physical and emotional abuse in the classroom. The first-ever code of conduct for teachers will hold them directly responsible for the emotional welfare of their students.
