Academy row over holy name

A row has broken out over whether a church school should be allowed to keep its religious name when it becomes a city academy. St Mary Magdalene CE primary in Islington, north London, which will be incorporated into a new five-to-18 academy, has been urged to adopt a more community-friendly title.
