Publisher Leckie amp; Leckie has launched a series of books to help schools develop A Curriculum for Excellence. They are targeted at specific year groups and address the new curriculum “in a practical way that makes developing the four capacities both engaging and fun”, says the publisher. In particular, they make links across subjects, so a maths page on measurement, for example, suggests links with physics, chemistry, history, geography and home economics. The first titles, all for S1, cover maths, English, and business and enterprise, each with course notes and activity workbook.
