Achieve network is for all-comers

We were delighted you covered the planned launch of Achieve network (TES, September 3). Several teachers who attended the London Schools and the Black Child conference had seen the article and were keen to sign up.

One important point needs to be made. Within the network, there will be a forum for black and minority-ethnic teachers and others to share their experience of teaching. In addition, the network is for all education professionals who are committed to promoting race equality in schools, raising achievement and preparing all our children to live in a multi-ethnic society.
