Former pupils of a Cardiff school have returned to collect certificates more than 70 years after they were first awarded. Howell’s School in Llandaff held a special ceremony after school archivist Janet Sully discovered certificates dating from the 1930s and 1940s that had never been presented. The school tracked down several of the winners and invited them to the ceremony, where the certificates including life-saving awards and even a Greek dancing prize, were presented.
