Action from Galbraith

The Minister for Children, has committed the Scottish Office to a "child-centred" approach to policy-making.

Sam Galbraith told last week's Save the Children conference that the effects of particular policies on young people would be taken into account and they would be consulted more widely.

One example would be the involvement of young people's representatives in the inspection of children's homes.
