Unison and GMB, the biggest school support staff unions, are consulting members over possible action against plans to increase the public-sector pension age from 60 to 65. A Trades Union Congress meeting of public-sector unions this week decided to seek meetings with ministers on the issue and intensify campaigning against the changes.
