The Activity Centres (Young Persons’ Safety) Bill is expected to receive Royal Assent next week, after successfully passing through its final reading in the House of Lords. The Bill was introduced by David Jamieson, the Labour MP for Plymouth Devonport, following the deaths of four teenagers in the Lyme Bay canoeing tragedy.
