A new test designed to help university admissions tutors decide which A-level students to select is to be trialled later this year. The Academic Reasoning and Thinking Skills test, designed by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate and an Australian research body, aims to help tutors differentiate between students with high A-level grades.
