Colleges Wales has accepted recommendations made by an Assembly committee to improve provision for young people with autism in further education.

One of the findings of the Welsh Assembly government’s enterprise and learning committee was that there was a lack understanding about autism among support staff and students generally. Colleges Wales said it had already started working with Lifelong Learning UK and Autism Cymru to improve staff training and share best practice.
