Troubled Airedale and Wharfedale College is to merge with a neighbouring college in Leeds, staff announced this week.
Principal Neil Davies has been brought in to steer the merger with Park Lane College.
The move comes after inspectors attacked management at Airedale and Wharfedale, leading corporation chairman Martin Millgate to take over as temporary principal.
