After a 10-year absence of American football in Fife, a junior kitted team has been set up, based in Kirkcaldy.

Fife Fire’s head coach, Mark Bramwell, who works for the council’s Active Schools programme, has already initiated flag football taster sessions. Torbain Primary in Kirkcaldy and Touch, Pitreavie and Limekilns primary schools in Dunfermline have had six-week courses in the non-contact version of the game.
