As part of a range of websites about ancient civilisations, the British Museum has launched a new site focusing on Ancient Greece, designed to compliment the national curriculum at upper key stage 2. The site is divided into 10 themed sections - The Acropolis, Athens, Daily Life, Festivals Games, Geography, Gods Goddesses, Knowledge Learning, Sparta, Time and War.

There are also British Museum sites for KS2 covering Ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, Ancient India and Ancient China, as well as websites about Mughal India and Early Imperial China for KS3. Each site provides information and games. In addition, there is a staffroom where teachers can access discussion ideas, worksheets and lesson plans.
