If you have two hands, you’ll enjoy playing with the Monkey Number Finger Puppets. There are 10 of them and though their cheekily appealing faces are all the same, they can be distinguished from one another by a clear numeral on the chest. On the back, the same quantity is indicated by the face of one or two dice. It isn’t difficult to picture circumstances for teachers of small children to bring them into play - counting rhymes and songs, impromptu stories, conversation about numbers.

Velcro tabs also allow them to appear on display boards. Monkey Number Finger Puppets cost pound;8.95 from Economatics.
