Anti-cuts rally

https://www.tes.com/magazine/archive/anti-cuts-rally
In March this year, Fight Against the Cuts in Education (FACE), a cross-party political pressure group then only two months old, organised a rally in central London attended by thousands of people to protest about the cuts in the education budget locally and nationally, and the under-funding of state education. Now we are going to do it all over again in central London on September 30, bigger and better than last time.

Since the March rally, many heads, teachers and governors have expressed support for FACE and its aims, and have asked to be kept informed about national events.

We would like to extend an invitation to all who care about the education of their children to join us at 12.30pm on Victoria Embankment and to march to Hyde Park.

Please join us to make the rally the biggest demonstration this country has ever seen. For more information, ring the national FACE Line on 01203 311103.
