SIX-YEAR-OLDS are to be targeted in an anti-sex abuse campaign run by the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. The charity aims to show how to distinguish between affectionate and abusive behaviour. However, the Department for Education and Employment doubted whether school governors would welcome such explicit material for children of that age. A spokesman said revised guidance on sex education would be issued early next year. The NSPCC teaching packs will be available free in the New Year.
