An article last week about the pre-Budget report quoted Julian Gravatt, assistant chief executive of the Association of Colleges (AoC), proposing a review of the budget of the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) rather than cutting adult skills provision in colleges. We have been asked to make clear that the AoC supports LSIS’s efforts to ensure more funding reaches colleges and wants any efficiency savings to be spread across all the FE support organisations.
