Apocalypse of loser language

Urban schools are suffering a crisis of confidence because of "apocalyptic comments" by the Government, a new book claims. Richard Riddell, former education director in Bristol, said: "It is hard not to believe that the language of special measures and serious weaknesses was not intentionally designed to demoralise."
