Apple receives US schools order for 23,000 iBooks

The launch of the new version of Apple’s award-winning laptop for education, the iBook, was given a boost last month with the news that a school district in Virginia has put in an order for 23,000 of thelaptops. Henrico County is leasing the iBooks for all middle and high school students in a four-year, $18.5 million technology initiative (review, p 21.) www.timesdispatch.comMGBD08KF8MC.html
